Last week I had to explain the functioning of WinPLC-Analyzer (WPA) to a collegue. We experienced several problems in the user interface during testing with a test-PLC. We use WPA in combination with Step7, with 'heterogenous' variables (addresses, types, mostly in DB's). 8. Editing the Signal Windo...

Is it possible to add the following: - Duplicate a signal to a signal window. - Possibility to modify the address of a DB (not just the address within the DB; why is this separated?) Often it is more convenient to modify the properties of a (copy of an) existing signal (address, symbol) than to edit...

You're right.
I thought about a problem in maintaining the time as a variable or reading it from the system.
The fault occurs indeed when it is output with statements like your example.
Thanks.

Just for information, I have the following question. This problem of the time-format of the [ms] seems to be a general Windows(?) problem. I have looked at the results of a previous program I used, made with Borland Delhi (using the Siemens Prodave function-set). It had the same bug when exporting <...

addition: Is it possible to choose the date- and time-separator? It seems to be fixed, thus not following the OS-settings. For the field-separator it's already possible. The Help-function: - describes the field separator is fixed - the Time-format misses the [ms] I follow a temporary workaround with...

User interface (english)

1. Terminology Alternatives: 'test point' -> 'sample' 'scan exact' -> 'interval' (scan is confusing with PLC-scan-cycle) 2. Rename Signal window Is it possible to use <F2> to rename a Signal window? General: is it possible to improve the Analyzer to Windows conventions? E.g. usage of <Ctrl>+<C> (cop...

Create new signal

1. Create several operands I often want to create several comparable signals at mixed locations. In this case this function is not very usefull because the addresses (in DBs) can not be modified afterwards. As alternative/remedy, a copy function for signals is missing. In general (e.g. signal, proje...

Export signals to file

1. Time-format There seems to be something wrong with the time-format in the export file. [ms] below 100 respectively 10 are exported as '.nn' and '.n' instead of the standard '.nnn'. This results in wrong interpretations by other applications. Example: WinPLC-Analyzer alternative 12:59:56.200 (OK, ...
